The theatre-house tour “Avatud Ugala” (Open Ugala) takes place on 23 January at Ugala Theatre in Viljandi. On the roughly 50-minute walk guests learn about the building’s architecture and history and see backstage rooms that are usually closed to the public. The tour shows how a large theatre house works outside performance time and offers stories about its various rooms and ways of working. The tour starts at the Ugala theatre box office and takes up to 20 people. It goes ahead with at least five registered participants. The public tour starts at 15.30, before the evening performances.
