The Potato Mashers – performance on 17 November

In the small hall of the Ugala Theatre in Viljandi, the musical family production “The Potato Mashers” is performed on 17 November. The story centres on the history of the potato and its adventurous journey from the foothills of the Andes to Estonian tables. Viewers meet people from different eras, odd cooks, and the potato’s friends and enemies. Director Liis Aedmaa’s production combines educational content with playful scenes, music and humour. The story is meant for the whole family and gives a familiar vegetable a surprisingly interesting perspective. The performance lasts one hour and ten minutes with no interval. Tickets are sold out.
