On 21 October 2026 from 16.00 to 17.00 the children’s and young adults’ literature hall of Viljandi Town Library hosts a meeting of the Pipa children’s club. The club is for pupils in grades 1–4 who want to take part in shared reading, play and craft activities. The club is named after the library’s mascot, Pipa the fox, and its activities centre on reading, experimenting and socialising with other children. Meetings are usually held twice a month on Wednesdays on the library’s second floor. The children themselves take part in shaping the club’s rules, and the main rules are caring and kindness. Participation is free and new participants are welcome to join.
